Kudos to everyone involved in the CiviCRM project. I've been in association management for 10 years, specializing in small/micro associations. That means we cannot afford any of the commercial CRM and association database programs out there. I discovered Drupal and CiviCRM a few months ago and am working now to put them into action. They are answers to my prayers!

British and Irish Graduates in America is an all-volunteer NPO that was formed in 2006 to promote and enable collaboration among the US alumni groups of British and Irish universities... The CiviMail module with click-through, tracked-openings and bounce processing allows us to efficiently monitor which groups and universities are reading and acting on our mailings... The responsiveness and support of the developers and the user community is awesome. I would have no hesitation in recommending this platform to any organization that wants an inexpensive (in development/maintenance time), versatile, feature-rich web-based community-building solution.

CiviCRM provides constituent relationship management functionality that is 'enterprise quality.' Facilitating, tracking, customizing and personalizing the online (and offline!) experience of the clients, activists, and members is vital to successfully realizing the mission of a large number of non-profit organizations in the US, Canada and elsewhere.

I work with several organizations that have been transformed and empowered via the use of the CiviCRM technology....CiviCRM is powerful because of the ease with which someone with fairly nominal administration skills can get up and running quickly. The flexibility of the contact structure (the ability to add / update / remove fields and profiles) is very powerful in CiviCRM and lacking in other similar contact resource managers that hope to achieve similar goals.

...for small non profits the management of relationships is a huge priority, but commercial applications are far out of reach. Our school would not be able to move forward on this without an open source appication that is also scalable , capable of managing relationships and other information, and highly reliable.

As a political organizer with little previous experience with software development I have been consistently surprised by the quick and positive response from the CiviCRM developers to all manner of questions and problems. This is very powerful software... and CiviCRM team has delivered on such a huge wishlist from users that I'm confident anything it doesn't do already will be available very soon after one of us realizes we need it.

The Atlanta Audobon Society began using CiviCRM version 1.2 in early 2006 and it is now our primary vehicle for keeping track of our local members and volunteers. Data entry volunteers record membership information (names, addresses, etc.) and yearly membership renewal payments. We then use the CiviCRM database to output mailing lists....We plan to encourage online renewals and online contributions and will track these using the CiviMember and CiviContribute modules.

QuestBridge... links exceptional students with colleges, scholarship providers, employers, and organizations seeking students who have excelled despite obstacles... (in order to) increase the percentage of talented, low-income students attending the nation's best universities... QuestBridge found CiviCRM's open-source solution could help with the control and scalability we were looking for. Using CiviCRM's form functionality, we developed a custom college application with an intuitive user interface. CiviCRM's custom data fields allowed (us) to add custom data to applicant's contact records and to be able to search on that data.

Aid Workers Network is a UK-based learning community of practice for humanitarian relief workers and those who support them. (The Network)... rapidly outgrew a range of home brew databases for managing its now 12,000+ membership. When CiviCRM came along, it was clear that it would meet our needs and talk to our values... We also saw that the CiviCRM team was rolling out improvements with impressive speed, based on the suggestions and feedback of a passionate community of users. Based on our experience, we have recommended CiviCRM to a number of other organisations in our field.
