AFS NZ are part of the international body which provides intercultural learning and volunteer opportunities for students, young adults, teachers and families through international exchange. AFS is one of the world’s largest not-for-profit volunteer based organisations. The initial request was to help them set up an Alumni system, but that then expanded to include a Pasifika site, and later on a Chapter based system. The resulting project is therefore a multi-org deployment (ie one CiviCRM db) linked to several Drupal websites including one Domain Access website that provides a site for each Chapter. Chapters needed controlled access to their contacts.
