PILCH was an early adopter of CiviCRM 4.1, as it needed the ability for people to setup personal campaign pages for their annual Walk for Justice event.
The solution ultimately involved numerous customisations to provide a specific registration workflow.
Background
This project was an opportunity for PILCH to take advantage of the new Events personal campaign page functionality within CiviCRM, to enable online donations and promotion by individual participants in the Walk for Justice through social media.
Challenges
This project was the organisation's first use of CiviCRM and was using bleeding edge functionality only just introduced in version 4.1. There was several customisations desired to provide a specific workflow for registration, which required lots of cross-browser javascript and template override testing.
