The CiviCRM Core Team is pleased to announce that work has started on a powerful, native form builder for CiviCRM. Long identified as a key piece of functionality, the native form builder made it officially to the roadmap in 2015.

Help improve accessibility and UX - modernize Select2.

Funding is 53% complete

Select2 is a library that enhances the usability of CiviCRM by providing rich dropdown widgets like the EntityRef field and action menus. This initative will overhaul those widgets by performing a major upgrade to the Select2 library. This new version provides greater accessibility for users with special needs, and an all-around improved user experience. JMA Consulting is spearheading this initiative in collaboration with the Core Team.
