CiviCRM in 2016

The new year will bring more than a new release of CiviCRM. In addition to a transition on the Core Team, 2016 will see development on version 5.0 officially commence along with organizational changes necessary to support and sustain CiviCRM for the long haul.

January 27th marks the planned stable release of CiviCRM 4.7, the last of the 4.x series. Thinking of upgrading to 4.7.0? Consider doing a test upgrade (or ask your provider to) so you can test out the beta versions and make sure that everything works for you.
 
CiviConnect: Site Profile utility

We’ve been working on a new utility to help facilitate connections with supplemental services, which we call CiviConnect. As of 4.6.5, it’s out and now ships with a site profile utility intended to help speed up support when issues do arise.
