CiviDay 2015 DC Meetup

Registration is closed for this event
Come meet others from the area who are interested in, using or developing for CiviCRM. The event is free and open to everyone, including people who are curious about CiviCRM and others who are already using CiviCRM in their organization.

Welcome to the first Washington DC CiviCRM meet-up in 2015. It also happens to be CiviDay 2015.

AGH Strategies and Ginkgo Street Labs are excited to partner together to organize this CiviDay-meet-up, and we look forward to a brainstorming session for creating a series of talks, for future meet-ups.

Presentations:

Making the Move to CiviCRM:

Is your organization using spreadsheets or a proprietary CRM tool to manage your data? If you're considering making the move to CiviCRM, join us at CiviDay DC to learn about the process involved in migrating to CiviCRM. Frank J. Gómez with Ginkgo Street Labs, will discuss how you can use the CiviCRM import tool to migrate your data and other processes involved to making the move to CiviCRM.

A CiviCRM Success Story:

Jorge Astorga Jr., Membership Manager at Center from Nonprofit Advancement, will share how they are utilizing CiviCRM in their organization, including successes, challenges and lessons learned.

Small customization - Big difference:

Andrew Hunt from AGH Strategies will examine the impact of small custom adjustments on improving a site's functioning. Free software isn't just affordable to install - it also makes it straightforward to make small adjustments that would be major obstacles on a proprietary system. We'll look at partial payments for memberships, quick merge options, and more at a handful of different organizations.
