CAUX – Initiatives of Change
Initiatives of Change (IofC) seeks to work for a more just society by strengthening the ethical foundations of democracy. Caux is the Swiss branch of the multi-national organization, which is looking for a single CRM-System to eventually cover all national societies.
Background
CiviCRM should provide one central database for all the organisation's data. Addtionally, CiviMail was to be introduced to facilitate the management of bulk mailings.
Challenges
Caux was the first of the IofC-organisations to use CiviCRM. Eventually, CiviCRM should be adopted by all IofC-members and thus be integrated with their existing systems. This is a step-by-step process, so several existing systems (e.g. the current mailman-lists) needed to be synchronised.
Solution
IofC was looking for an open-source software that would integrate well with their existing Drupal environment. Hence, CiviCRM was an obvious choice.
Functionality
Hassle-free online-access for various members of staff spread over several locations in Switzerland, ability to send e-mail newsletters through a simple process.
