Integrates Monetico Online (formerly known as CM-CIC p@iement) with CiviCRM as an online payment processor.
Monetico Online is the payment gateway provided by French banks Crédit Mutuel and CIC, widely used by associations, foundations, and nonprofits in France.
Key Capabilities
- Hosted Checkout: Directs donors and members to the secure Monetico payment page (Monetico v3.0 / DSP2 compliant).
- Form & CMS Integrations: Supports standard CiviCRM contribution forms, event registrations, Drupal Webform CiviCRM, and modern Form Builder / Afform checkouts.
- Instant Confirmation: Automatically updates contribution records in real time via server-to-server notifications.
- Online Refunds: Issue partial or full refunds directly from CiviCRM (requires the recredit option to be enabled on your Monetico merchant contract).
- Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile and recover CiviCRM-originated payments against bank records (scoped to CiviCRM contributions, not third-party systems).
Documentation for installation, configuration (TPE keys and CGI2 return URLs), and operational usage is available in the project repository.
Implements the Monetico Online payment protocol including the revisions documented by Monetico as of August 2026.
Scope: hosted one-off card payments and CGI2 server notifications. Premium contract options — including recurring payments, card aliases and additional payment methods — are not yet implemented.
