We are a not-for-profit providing sustainable living advice specifically for those living in rental property. Renters are a growing part of the community and we believe their involvement is vital and possible. As the only organisation specifically for renters we deliver workshops, host events and run projects, this website is full of tips, tutorials, product reviews and inspiring stories. We use CiviCRm for managing contacts and our relations with them, event registrations, memberships, donations, mailing lists, surveys, competitions and much more!
Background
A free and open source solution to our needs that didn't lock us into propriety and inflexible systems and worked within our budget.
Challenges
An initial learning curve and sometimes knowing quite where to like for a solution to problems we face.
Solution
Past experience using CiviCRM in other organisations, other Mac based CRM solutions were tested, but the Drupal integration was a major player in sticking with CiviCRM
