Based on the success of our first two camps - we're looking to schedule 3 to 4 camps throughout 2008. These camps will probably follow the same basic format. We'll limit attendance to a small group of folks from 1 to 3 different organizations (approx 3 - 9 participants) and do a combination of design and coding on specific projects of interest to the attendees.
I'm posting some tentative locations and dates here so that folks can look at their schedules and get back to us as to which time(s) and location(s) they'd be interested in joining. At this point, the March date is definite. The other two are tentative and we're open to adjusting both dates and locations based on need (and our availability :-) ).
- March 18-19 in New Orleans. These dates precede and the NTEN annual conference there - so you could kill two birds with one stone.
- July (mid-month?) - on the east coast (Washington DC, Philadelphia, NYC, Boston ??)
- Late October or early November - in San Francisco

Any Chance of coming down to Los Angeles?
if there is sufficient interest, i suspect doing one in southern california and the pacific northwest is a possibility. to a large extent it depends on the success of the next two bootcamps :)

Let me know if you plan to have a bootcamp in Philly. I would be more than happy to be your field rep and get things set-up. I could find a suitable spot and help arrange the logistics.

We are attending NTEN and we are interested in attending a camp either before or after the conference. Are you all putting this on? We are happy to help in any way. Let us know. DharmaTech
Interested in producing print documentation.
I would likely be interested in going to the one in San Fran, and LA would be good as well. I'm in Phoenix so either way is about the same cost.
Would be interested if the event was held in July.
Also, does anyone know of whom I could talk to obtain sponsorship/scholarship to attend the developer conference? Because the non-profit organization I am with has a very limited budget when it comes to IT training, I'm looking at alternative options to be able to attend.
Thanks!
