The paid issue queue aims to provide a simple mechanism for you to get the work you need into the next release of CiviCRM. It's designed to work in parallel to our standard issue queue, allowing you to 'jump the line' by providing the necessary resources to get your issue fixed.

CiviCRM's ambassador program is designed to connect people that want to get started with CiviCRM with folks that have been there before - you may already be doing this informally, with friends and colleagues or at meet ups.  Or maybe you'd like to be. In either case, you should join our ambassador program.

We thought it would be good to look back over 2014, highlight some of what we've achieved together, and the lessons we've learned, and use these as the basis of some priorities for 2015. A wise person once said "those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it", and while I agree with the sentiment, it is kind of gloomy!

If CiviCRM were a religion (interesting topic for debate, maybe?) then CiviDay would be the most important day in our calendar - our annual excuse to get together, make new friends, reconnect with old acquaintances, and generally have a good time.  Oh, and of course, to learn how CiviCRM can help you, hear about the amazing things that people are doing with CiviCRM, find out what's new in the latest release, and so on, and so on.

Those of you who have been following our blog, or our linked in discussion group, or are on our partner list will know that quite a few people have been working on a new question and answer site for CiviCRM, based at Stack Exchange.  CiviCRM is already a super helpful community. Stack Exchange provides a really powerful tool that 'curates' the question and answer process much more effectively that traditional forums.

CiviCon London happened almost a month ago now so I thought it was about time for a quick review. 2014 was our biggest year yet.  As in the previous years, we had a roughly 50:50 split between people new to CiviCRM and CiviCon and people coming back from previous years.  We also had a fairly even split between developers, implementors and users.

There are four really interesting CiviCRM sessions penciled in for NTEN this year (in Austin, Texas).  In order to ensure these sessions get run, we need to win a popularity contest.
