CiviCRM has an opening for a part time fundraiser, who will work with the core team to strengthen financial relationships with vendors and end-user organizations. Primary responsibilities will include managing the partner and member programs, as well as setting strategic direction for financially funding the platform over the next five to ten years.
We've been talking for a while now about how we can improve the ways that we recognise the non financial contributions people make to CiviCRM. This topic came up a fair amount when we designed the partner program - lots of people said things along the lines of "we need to make sure the many non financial contributions people make aren't marginalised by the partner program" and while we agreed it was super important, we wanted to put it on hold until we got the partner program up and running.
Last January, we have 24 amazing CiviDay meet ups in cities around the world. I looked back just now and was reminded of all the great things that came out of those meetups (including CiviCamp DC!). It was great to see existing meet ups energised and new ones started. This coming January 29th 2014, we want to repeat the success of last year, and push it up a notch.

CiviCRM has a lot of clever functionality but it isn't always easy to find. I wanted to share with people a very useful feature that is hiding 'in plain sight' on the advanced search form. Maybe this is because there are many other buttons competing for your attention on the advanced search page.

For the past eight years, CiviCRM's core team have been shipping a free, powerful, industry-leading solution for non-profit organizations. This blog post examines how we have achieved this -- and what it will take to continue delivering a great product for the next eight years.
This October 3rd and 4th, it's CiviCon London 2013 - CiviCRM's Annual European Conference. CiviCon London is two days jam packed with super-interesting and informative sessions showing you how to make the most out of CiviCRM at your organisation. It's the best place for you to meet and network with people that can give you advice, share best practice, and help you with your CiviCRM project.
A massive thank you to all the service providers (listed below) who signed up as founding partners and helped us exceed our fundraising goals for the partner program. In total, we raised $90,000 from 43 founding partners (our goal was $75,000) which is a fantastic step for the sustainabilty of the project and shows the strength and diversity of our service provider ecosystem.
