Circle Interactive is expanding its technical team and has a great opportunity for a web developer with good commercial experience. We are a small dynamic agency supplying high quality digital solutions to over 150 clients across the public, commercial and especially charity sectors and we are growing steadily. We are looking for someone who can grow with us as we expand and take on more responsibility over time for improving our systems and supporting more junior members of the team.
We will provide on the job training and support and you'll have the opportunity to work on your own learning projects. We run regular knowledge sharing and training sessions for developers and you'll get to go to some conferences and sprints for Open Source projects.
You will most likely have done a few years in another agency or as part of an in-house team and should be pretty comfortable with Drupal. Working in a team of about 6-8 other developers ranging from highly experienced to student placements, you’ll be involved in building new sites and features and helping maintain and support 200+ predominantly Drupal and Wordpress websites, many using CiviCRM. You will be working closely with our other developers, freelancers and project managers.
Key skills:
- Fluent PHP, JS, HTML, CSS
- Solid understanding of MySQL
- Comfortable with Drupal 7
- Experience with git workflows
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Team player
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Docker and Ansible
- Knowledge of accessibility issues
- Experience of Drupal 8 and/or Wordpress
- Angular or React
- Good working knowledge of drush
