BrightMinded specialises in membership platforms built with CiviCRM and WordPress, and offers a range of innovative solutions tailored to the needs of our clients. We were founded in 2011, and have a UK-based team of software engineers, creatives, and account managers.

CiviCRM Services
We put users at the heart of our membership platforms, and that means your internal team as well as your members. We typically start with a discovery phase which involves a deep dive into your current operations, and a survey of your members and other stakeholders to flush out any pain points. We’ll create a content plan and information architecture for your new platform, mapping out the user journeys for everything from registration and renewal, through to event booking and training course assessments.
We’ll design you a fresh new look and feel, incorporating your existing branding, or helping you with a brand refresh if it’s looking a bit tired. With WordPress as the content management system, we make it easy for your team to add and edit all content on the site while maintaining consistent branding and design principles.
Our membership platforms include tiered membership grades with fixed or rolling renewal dates, and access to member resources determined by membership grade. Registration and renewal payments can be made by credit card, direct debit, or invoice, and finance data can be synched to your accounting platform.
Members can manage their data within their portal, including their communication preferences and their public profile, if your site has a member directory. If your members are themselves organisations, your team no longer needs to manage the individual members. Lead contacts at each member organisation can manage their own members, inviting them to join and controlling access, as well as editing their organisation profile.
Your content team can use the data about your members in the CRM to personalise their experience across the site. For example a personalised feed on the member dashboard can promote news, events, and other resources that match the particular areas of interest of the logged-in member.
Our fully-featured event management allows your team to create and schedule events, controlling access to members and non-members as appropriate with tiered ticket pricing based on membership grade, for example. Your attendees will get automated event reminders, and you’ll get attendance analytics and income reporting. We also offer an integrated Learning Management System allowing you to sell online or blended courses, generate certificates, and automatically record CPD points.
We’ll design drag and drop email templates allowing you to send great-looking newsletters and other communications to targeted groups, segmenting using any of the built-in or custom fields in the CRM.
We’re experts at integrations, and can connect your new membership platform to any external system that allows it. If we don’t support an integration already then we’ll build it for you, whether through a single sign-on process, or a full API integration.
Our Association Assistant takes it to the next level, giving CiviCRM administrators a conversational interface to query data about contacts, memberships, events and financial transactions.
If you don’t have the time or budget for our full process then we offer a low-cost alternative where we’ll configure a standard installation for you. Our onboarding process will still include a light-touch discovery phase, and we’ll incorporate your existing branding into the new platform.
We’ll train your team on how to use WordPress and CiviCRM, and our support team will be there to answer any questions you may have once the new platform is live.
