In late 2018, the Establishment Team was set-up to help identify the role and processes for a newly-elected team to represent the CiviCRM community. The outcomes were reported in mid-2019 but implementation was paused in the lead-up to the Community Summit in October.

After seven long months and over 35 conference calls, 65 Loomio threads, 15 Google Documents and 2 PowerPoint docs, we are done!

We are in the final countdown to the UK CiviCamp in Leeds, on the 3rd May 2019. Lots of the sessions are now finalised and there will be a good range of topics and opportunities to find out more:

You are invited to the first CiviCamp in the UK, brought to you in Manchester, the “uncrowned capital of the north”! Firstly, for those not familiar with the term, what is a CiviCamp? It’s a bit like a CiviCon, the annual conference for CiviCRM, where people gather for workshops and networking, to get a better idea of what CiviCRM is capable of and how to implement it more effectively in their own workplace.

This year, around 25 dedicated and fascinating people have gathered together in Edale, Peak District, to make improvements, discuss progress, and learn more about the CiviCRM project. Some have already left us and some will be here right up to the end of the weekend, but we have all contributed to the project in a helpful and constructive way.
