Training: Understanding CiviCRM's Administrative Functions

During this training, we'll dive under the hood in CiviCRM to demonstrate three essential features of administration:

• Controlling Permissions – Learn how to manage who sees what and who can do what without accidentally granting someone the power to delete the entire contact database (don’t worry, we’ve seen it all—and recovered it too).
• Contact Deduplication – Because no one wants to send three emails to the same person with three different spellings of their name. We’ll show you how to clean up your data like a pro.
• CiviCRM Contacts vs. CMS Users – Finally understand the relationship between your CMS (Drupal, WordPress, etc.) and CiviCRM contact records. Spoiler: they’re not the same, but they can be friends—with a little guidance.
