Here's a quick run down of major CiviCRM events for your calendar for 2016.

Following the success of CiviCon Denver 2015, we'll be headed back to Colorado again in 2016 - to the beautiful city of Fort Collins - for our annual north American CiviCRM conference.

CiviDay - our annual celebration of all things CiviCRM is coming up on Wednesday 24th February 2016. Find out what CiviCRM can do for you, meet others that are using CiviCRM nearby, and find out what CiviCRM services are available locally.

A while ago I did a test migration of CiviCRM's user and admin documentation to gitbook and said that I'd also do a migration to readthedocs so we could compare the two.  I finally got round to completing the readthedocs migration so wanted to share with you some impressions so far, the advantages and disadvantages are of both systems.

We thought it was about time that we published some job descriptions for the core team - to make it clearer what each of us works on, and is responsible for.  Up until now, you would have had to be pretty well aquainted with the core team to understand what everyone did, and even then you probably wouldn't know everything we got up to. This is an effort to better present our work to the community and we hope it will be useful to you.
