CiviCRM Documentation, Test and Code Sprint - after CiviCon San Francisco (April 2012)

Registration is closed for this event
This sprint is targeted at CiviCRM users and developers who want to work on CiviCRM documentation, improve test coverage, and potentially work on improving select features.

Accommodations, Food and Transportation are Covered

This sprint is being held at the Woolman Sierra Friends Center in scenic Nevada City, CA. Accommodations in shared cabins, all meals (primarily vegetarian), and transportation on selected dates between San Francisco and Nevada City will be covered.

Prerequisites

This sprint is intended for CiviCRM users and developers. You do NOT need to have prior CiviCRM development experience, but you must be comfortable with using CiviCRM. Each participant is expected to bring a laptop with the current version of CiviCRM installed and running locally (more details...).

The sprint runs for 9 days total, but we realize many participants will not be able to participate for the entire duration. We do ask that you commit to attending for at least 3 days.

Goals

The agenda will be finalized based on the interests of the group. We would like to have a group focused on the CiviCRM online guides (User/Admin Guide, Developer Guide, and the new Trainers Guide). Another group will be writing and extending unit and web tests. If we have a large group, we will split up and have another group focused on improving select CiviCRM features

Please post areas that are of interest to you on our forum discussion board. We will as a group pick two - three topics. Participants should bring their own wifi capable laptop.
