CiviHR empowers organisations to record and manage their staff and volunteers and transform HR processes via its specialist software.

We know that HR is difficult, especially for non-profits with limited budgets and high numbers of volunteers and part-time staff. CiviHR is affordable HR software for non-profit organisations; by developing open source technology and utilising the existing framework of CiviCRM, the cost-saving benefits can be shared with non-profits everywhere.

CiviHR is easy to use while still providing all the features expected from a comprehensive HR solution. It allows you to efficiently manage all the people who work for your organisation, from full-time paid staff to part-time volunteers, and everybody in between.

Key features include:

  • Staff Profiles: store contract details, relevant documentation and other essential HR information for each member of staff. Add multiple positions and roles for each contact. Update job contracts for any change of terms & view past revisions.

  • Leave: Staff can request holidays, sickness and overtime via the Self Service Portal, with requests specified in hours or days. Update leave entitlement for staff and create different working patterns per contract.

  • Tasks and Workflows: Group multiple tasks as one workflow, similar to those used in CiviCase. Keep track of documents like passports and visas, store copies, and generate reminders.Joining and Exiting workflows are built into the system by default.

  • Reporting: Easily monitor headcount and leave, query the underlying data and summarise in a pivot table or chart. Create custom reports and save new configurations by dragging and dropping field labels to display results using colourful heatmaps, bar charts or line graphs.

  • Self Service Portal: Staff can login remotely to view their personal details and edit contact information for themselves and their emergency contacts. They can apply for leave, read policy documents, look up staff in the directory, and view any tasks assigned to them.

More features are planned for 2018, such as payroll exporting, managing appraisals and applicant tracking.
