In last month's Community Newsletter, we included a poll that consisted of a few questions:
1.  What is your role
2.  Type of stories that you like to read
3.  Suggestions for other content

Thanks so much to all that responded.  Following are the results we received:

We also got some cool suggestions that we are already taking into consideration:
  • A regular column highlighting community code contributions from the previous month as a way to give prominence to contributors, especially big regular committers, new committers, and notable commits.  Update:  We will start including these contributors as part of our Community Hightlight section
  • A column highlighting community documentation assistance (wiki or booki) and / or forum help.
  • I’d love to see an issue focused on Civi use in educational settings.  Update: We are currently working on this.
  • Articles covering the use of certain functions.  For example, I’d like to see details on how a NP has used the volunteer module, or how NP has set up newsletter successfully. Update:  We are currently reaching out to organizations that might be able to provide this information.
  • Continued coverage of new technology (doctrine, code base, refactoring)
This is YOUR newsletter, so please feel free to drop me a line if at any time you'd like to share your thoughts with us (lwupagano@backofficethinking.com)
