Why CiviConf Paris 2026 matters

CiviCRM is an open source CRM designed for non‑profit organisations - associations, foundations, federations, unions and more - and is now used by over 13,000 organisations worldwide to manage their members, donors and campaigns.

For many of them, CiviCRM has become the central place to track relationships, consolidate data from multiple tools and support long‑term engagement, while preserving full control over infrastructure, data and technology choices.

Paris 2026 is an opportunity for the global community to come together, share what we’ve built, and shape what comes next - especially around topics like data sovereignty, fundraising, membership, events and advocacy.

Who should attend?

Paris 2026 is open to current users, organisations curious about CiviCRM, implementers and developers.

  • Organisations (associations, NGOs, foundations, federations…)
Discover how other organisations manage members, donations, events and communications with CiviCRM, and leave with concrete ideas you can apply at home.
  • Administrators and advanced users
Join advanced trainings (FR & EN) to optimise workflows, automation, reporting and “no‑code” configuration using SearchKit, FormBuilder and key extensions, together with experts and core contributors.
  • Developers (PHP, Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, Backdrop…)
Explore the CiviCRM codebase, extension ecosystem and new features, contribute to the core, documentation and translations, and collaborate directly with the core team and experienced implementers.

Whether you are just starting, already running CiviCRM in production, or contributing to core, you will find sessions and peers at your level.

The week at a glance

From Monday 5 October to Friday 9 October 2026, CiviConf & CiviSprint offers:

  • 1 day of Conference (Monday) - use cases, keynotes, lightning talks, the launch of the French User Club and more.
  • 2 days of training (Tuesday & Wednesday) - parallel tracks for advanced users (in French and English) and developers (English).
  • 4 days of Sprint (Tuesday to Friday) - collaborative work on core, extensions, documentation, translations and more.

You can join just the conference, a training track, the sprint - or stay for the full week.

Conference highlights

The Monday conference is fully dedicated to how CiviCRM is used in non‑profit organisations.

Expect:

  • Real‑world case studies and user stories from organisations using CiviCRM to manage members, donors and multi‑channel campaigns.
  • A keynote on digital sovereignty, exploring how open source and CiviCRM support transparency, privacy and autonomy for civil society.
  • The official launch of the CiviCRM French User Club and presentation of the new CiviCRM France association.
  • Lightning talks and a partners session showcasing integrations, extensions and services.

A significant part of the programme will be in French, with additional content in English.

Trainings: Advanced Users & Developers

From Tuesday to Wednesday, two training tracks will run in parallel:

  • Advanced User Training
Two days to go deeper into CiviCRM: advanced configuration, SearchKit, FormBuilder, common extensions, reporting and best practices to support your organisation’s processes.
Sessions will be offered in both French and English, and content will be adapted to participants’ needs.
  • Developer Training
Two days for developers who want to explore the CiviCRM codebase, extend and customize CiviCRM or build new features.
This track, delivered in English, is aimed at people comfortable with PHP and MySQL and ready to dive into CiviCRM internals, with guidance from experienced community developers.

Both trainings combine hands‑on exercises, live demos and plenty of time for questions and peer learning.

Sprint: contribute to CiviCRM

From Tuesday to Friday, the Sprint brings together developers, implementers, translators and users to work directly on CiviCRM.

Sprint activities typically include:

  • Improving and fixing core CiviCRM.
  • Working on extensions and integrations.
  • Enhancing documentation and user guides.
  • Translating interfaces and materials.

If you’ve never joined a sprint before, don’t worry: there will be people to help you get started, identify tasks and make your first (or next) contribution, whatever your level.
