With only three weeks to go, time is running out to book your place on the UK Sprint or Developer Training!

Sprint

As always, our sprints are friendly and welcoming events that provide an opportunity for you to get to know the rest of the CiviCRM community and contribute back to the project at the same time. They are ideal for working on your pet project, learning about the latest developments in CiviCRM and building up your CiviCRM network.

Several members of the core team will be attending the sprint along with many active CiviCRM contributors so this is a great opportunity to get more involved.

The Sprint provides many opportunites to contribute more closely with the CiviCRM project, working alongside others and sharing expertise. While we recommend attending for the whole week, it is possible to attend for a shorter period if you are not able to commit to the full 5 nights.

Cost - £395

Developer Training

If you're looking to sharpen your skills or become actively engaged in CiviCRM development for the first time then you won't want to miss the developer training. This comprehensive two-day hands on training course is targeted at developers who want to learn more about configuring, customizing, and extending CiviCRM to meet their organization / client needs. You don't need to be a 'developer' to attend but you should have moderate PHP and MySQL skills, and be familiar with (or at least ready to dive into) the CiviCRM code base.

Attendees on the Developer Training are encouraged to stay on for the full Sprint and join the teams working on projects.

Cost - £600

Venue

We are returning to the beautiful Somersal Cottages in Derbyshire, where we held last year's Sprint and Developer Training. The cottages are on the edge of the Peak District, and the nearest train station is Uttoxeter. We will be arranging some transport on the 16th to collect people from the train station.

The cost includes accommodation, meals and drinks. Please let us know if you have any particular requirements.

The nature of the accommodation is that some rooms will be shared with other attendees and they will either be a single or twin room. Rooms will be allocated based on gender (i.e. males sharing / females sharing) but if you have any considerations you’d like taken into account on your allocation, please contact us. We want to ensure everyone is comfortable.
