User Meet-up and Developer Camp in April - Hold the Dates
We're planning a User Meet-up and a Developer Code-sprint in San Francisco in April, immediately following NTEN's annual conference.
The User Meet-up will be a free event held on April 29th. We'll meet for either a half-day (morning) or full-day depending on interest and the number of sign-ups. If you're planning on attending the NTEN conference and / or can find your way to SF that day - this is a great opportunity to meet other CiviCRM users as well as members of the core team, share best practices, ask your tough questions and help chart the future of the project.
We're also planning a 2-day Developer Camp in San Francisco on April 29th-30th. This session is targeted at integrators and developers who want to learn more about CiviCRM as a platform (including using hooks, APIs and custom classes). We'll also do a few code-sprints during the camp. There will be a $250 charge for the camp to cover expenses. If your organization can't cover this cost - ping us about options for bartering services.
If your interested in either event - please send email to dave at civicrm dot org (including which event you'd like to attend). We'll post specifics on exact meeting location and times as we get closer and have a rough idea about how many folks are coming.
Comments
We had 33 participants in the Webinar (exceeding my expectations for sure). Exciting to see the interest level!
Looking forward to hearing how the experience was from some of the participants - so we can improve how we run these going forward.
