With over ten thousand organizations using CiviCRM worldwide, you might think it would be easy to find qualified, experienced people to hire for your job opportunities.  However, it can sometimes be a challenge for job seekers to know if their CiviCRM skills will be of use.

[CiviCareers logo]CiviCareers aims to change that.  The site brings together jobs at organizations worldwide who use CiviCRM to track and engage their supporters.  Jobs in fundraising, organizing, event planning, and more—executive and administrative—are available to browse.  Best of all, posting is free and easy.

This site emerged from a conversation at a Washington, DC, CiviCRM meetup over a year ago: an experienced CiviCRM user was looking for a place to apply his expertise.  Meanwhile, some of our clients at AGH Strategies would ask us for help finding job applicants who could hit the ground running with CiviCRM.

CiviCareers offers employers the ability to stand out with a selective site rather than being buried within a generic job board.  Listing with CiviCareers helps strengthen and enrich the CiviCRM community, and it can reduce the amount of training needed for new hires.  Best of all, there's no cost to post!

For job seekers, searching CiviCareers first allows you to find employers where your experience will give you a leg up on the competition.  By building upon skills accumulated in your past work, you won't have to spend as much time learning a radically new system.

Try it out and let us know your experience!  We anticipate evolving new features; please contact us with your suggestions.
