Introducing the Community Round Table

The CiviCRM Community Council and CiviCRM Core Team are putting together quarterly meetings and invite you to attend. Dubbed ‘Community Round Tables’, these online meetings are intended to provide attendees with general project updates as well as an opportunity for Q&A and general feedback with the Community Council, the Core Team, and community members at large.

The Community Round Tables will include 2 meetings every quarter in order to accommodate users around the world, with the first happening on April 20th. Information and registration online:

Please note that in order to facilitate the open forum format, we are asking for questions, comments or feedback in advance. Registrants will receive a link to a form in order to facilitate this.

Additional details below, though we do expect the format to evolve over time. We hope you’ll join us!

  • Open to all community members
  • Community Round Tables will be recorded and shared via CiviCRM's Youtube channel
  • Registration (free) will be required, done through civicrm.org
  • Minutes or general summary post event will not be taken or provided
  • Use either Google Meet and Jitsi
  • Duration will be 1 hour in length and may vary depending on community interest

When

Community Roundtables will be quarterly at the date below. Each will be comprised of 2 'meetings', one intended for the US east coast + EU timezones, and one for the US west coast + Asia Pacific timezones. People can register for either event (or both) regardless of timezone.

  • Tuesday, 13 July 2021
  • Tuesday, 5 October 2021
  • Tuesday, 18 January 2022

Final meeting times will be defined in advanced and on the event registration pages. We will attempt to schedule the meetings at the following times:

  • US / EU - 1pm UTC (9am US ET / 2pm BST)
  • US / APAC - 11pm UTC (4pm PT / 9am AEST)

Proposed agenda:

  1. Brief update - 5 - 10 mins for community council, 5 - 10 mins for core team
  2. Open forum (i.e. "round table") - 40 - 50 mins
