CiviCon London: our Earlybird and Session Teasers

Last week we wrote a post introducing CiviCon London 2016, Europe's biggest CiviCRM conference.

Today, we wanted to tell you a little more about our Earlybird tickets and the three specialist session tracks that will be on offer AND give you a sneak preview of some of the amazing sessions you will be able to attend.

Early Bird tickets will be available until the 5TH AUGUST, offering a 30% discount on normal price.

For the full conference, our Earlybird rate is only £145, granting you access to both days: Thursday 6th and Friday 7th October.

There is also the option of a one day ticket if prefered. For Earlybirds, the price for a 1-day ticket is £95.

Your Ticket

Your ticket includes access to all the sessions on the day, lunch, and after-conference drinks and nibbles on Thursday 6th October.

The sessions

As always there will be something for everyone at CiviCON. This year there will be 3 session “Tracks”:

User

The user track will be geared towards people coming to find out whether CiviCRM is right for their organisation, with client case studies from both small and large organisations using Civi and in-depth demonstrations of what is possible with Civi and Website integrations such as Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress. There will the opportunity to ask questions directly to a panel of end users and the chance to sit down with implementation partners at the CiviCRM speed dating…

Implementor

The implementor track will give technical advice and have discussions around new features in the latest versions and  sessions on how to get the most out of each of the CiviCRM modules. The extension showcase will give you a chance to see what is new from all corners of the CiviCRM community.

Developer

For new and experienced developers there will be wealth of technical sessions, including those for first timers looking to get started with the Civi API and creating your first extensions, to in depth discussions on planned architecture changes for the latest versions.

We’ll also be incorporating some new ideas into the agenda to shake things up alongside some great sessions already booked in. These will start to be announced as the weeks go one, so do keep an eye out for these posts!

Here’s a teaser preview for three of our sessions:

Peer to Peer fundraising with CiviCRM (for users)

Mailing and marketing with CiviCRM (for implementers)

CiviRules - Use cases and extending CiviRules (for developers)

The full session list will be up soon on the website: https://london2016.civicrm.org/.

We also have videos from last year’s CiviCon London sessions on our Youtube channel. Check them out for an idea of what CiviCon sessions are like!

Who will be there?

Not-for-profit organisations come to CiviCon to meet new people and learn from their peers and from our workshops.

Developers and implementers of CiviCRM are a big part of our more technical audience, hosting and participating in expert sessions.

CiviCRM Partners will also be there too, available to answer your questions about CiviCRM and helping you understand how to migrate to CiviCRM.

We hope to see you there and remember to register before August 5th for the Earlybird Discount.

Bursary places are also available on a first come first served basis. We are offering 30 tickets for £50 (1-day at the Conference) for organisations with an income of under £500,000. Please email info@civicrm.org to apply.
