CiviCRM version 5.80.0 is now ready to download. This is a regular monthly release. Upgrade now for the most stable CiviCRM experience:

Users of the CiviCRM Extended Security Releases (ESR) do not need to upgrade. The current version of ESR is CiviCRM 5.75.x.

What's new in CiviCRM 5.80

Advanced Search mini-redesign
More responsive, compact, with more focus on what matters in daily searches (screenshots).

Improved SMS reports
And by improved, we mean there are now reports to view basic data such as group recipients, the message that was sent.

Beta: RiverLea is now bundled with core
The new default theme is now shipping 🚀. It is not yet enabled by default, but you can switch it on and let us know what you think! Why another theme? See Nic's blog post.

Beta: CiviCRM does not require a CMS anymore
Previously known as "CiviCRM Standalone", now just "CiviCRM". See also Ben's Next steps for CiviCRM Standalone.

New Extensions

  • Mailbox Mailing - Send an email to a specific inbox, and CiviCRM will automatically create and schedule a mailing with that email.
  • Petition Counter - Adds a signature counter on petition pages.
  • Razorpay Payment Processor - Accept payments by all supported methods by Razorpay.
  • Activity Hours - Converts the activity 'duration' field so that users can enter time in hours, instead of minutes.
  • SearchKit Report Starter Pack - Provides out of the box SearchKit equivalents for CiviCRM's default reports. Provides a jump start to creating your perfect reports.
