November CiviCRM Meetup - New York

This is the 4th New York CiviCRM Meetup. Come meet others from the New York area who are interested in, using or developing for CiviCRM. We will have a presentation from an organization using CiviCRM locally and have an open question and answer session.

Working Agenda:

  • 6:05pm - Introductions
  • 6:15pm - The Rev. Shawn Duncan of the Episcopal Church, will present a case study of a Joomla/CiviCRM installation for a church community  that uses CiviContribute, CiviEvent, CiviMail and CiviMember.  Member  only features on the frontend are a member directory, member dashboard  and participant listings.
  • 6:35pm - Rayogram will discuss CiviCRM's personal campaign page module following a beta-test for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's Time for Research Campaign (www.TimeForResearch.org). 

    Following a five month usability study with real donors, rayogram has modified the Drupal user-interface and workflow to eliminate several specific stumbling blocks for donor participation. rayogram will demonstrate the new, improved version launching November 1st and reveal a suggested road map for enhancing the CiviCRM PCP module in the future - including integration into donor mailing lists and promotion to social media networks.
