(re)Introducing Manchester Meetups
After a few years without regular CiviCRM Meetups in Manchester, we're looking to bring back a regular in-person networking and information-sharing sessions for CiviCRM users.
Meetups are open to anyone using CiviCRM in any capacity: regular users, developers and people who are exploring CRM options for their organisation, Come along, ask your questions and feel free to share your expertise.
We hope to make these meetings twice yearly, roughly Spring and Autumn.
A long hard look at SearchKit
This February's meeting will focus on exploring SearchKit. The latest addition to CiviCRM's searching and reporting tools. We'll look at the types of data that can be searched for in SearchKit (spoiler alert: pretty much all of it). How you can quickly build complex searches across data types. And how you can then use the FormBuilder tool to make permanent displays your colleagues and stakeholders can access.
Bring some strong socks. They may be blown off.
Any questions?
There will be an open q+a session where you can bring any and all questions you have about using CiviCRM. We'll have people attending with a wide range of CiviCRM experience- so it could be your chance to pick the brain of an expert.
The venue and getting there
The Meetup will be held at Manchester Mind's offices in Manchester City Centre. We are a 10 minute walk from Oxford Road and Piccadilly Rail Stations, and a 5 minute walk from the tram stops in St Peter's Square or Piccadilly Gardens. Further details can be found on the event page.
There is no charge for attending the Meetup. Who knows, we might even put the kettle on.
If you've got any questions, pop them in the comments, contact alarmingcod on Mattermost or join the UK Meetups channel also in Mattermost.
