dev-team - official CiviCRM announcement

CiviCRM version 5.76.0 is now ready to download. This is a regular monthly release. Upgrade now for the most stable CiviCRM experience:

Users of the CiviCRM Extended Security Releases (ESR) do not need to upgrade. The current version of ESR is CiviCRM 5.75.x.

We are committed to keeping CiviCRM free and open, forever. We depend on your support to help make that happen. We thank all our partners, members and ESR subscribers, who are regular financial contributors. If you can, please donate.

What's new in CiviCRM 5.76

Message Administrator
Editing "System Workflow" messages gets big improvements. Enable "Message Administrator" in extensions.

Message Header Token
You can define a message header that you can put on all your templates, and edit in one place.

Grant Tokens
CiviGrant records now have mailing tokens to personalize your grant-related messages.

FormBuilder Conditionals Improvements
Use more operators like "is empty" with conditionals. Use fields that allow multiple selections in a conditional.

Add value to all imports
You can add a new column to imports automatically that has the same value for everyone. For instance, add a financial type "Campaign Contribution" to imported contributions.

Big thanks to Andie Hunt, Alice Frumin and Jon Goldberg for putting up together release notes. See also the version-specific upgrade tasks. The last entry goes back to CiviCRM 5.67, regarding smarty tokens being phased of Message Templates.
