MapIt UK is point-to-boundary mapping for the UK
MapIt UK is an API service which matches points and boundaries. In this extension, it is being called to map data against UK postcodes held in the CiviCRM address fields. See MapIt API for more information.
Some CiviCRM configuration is required. Please ensure your read the README file. (Currently under development)
If you input a postcode or geographical location, and MapIt returns the relevant constituency or authority. For example:

- https://mapit.mysociety.org/postcode/SW1A%200AA
MapIt is a subscription service, but charities are eligible for discounted rates and are able to access up to 10,000 calls per months for free.

If you are eligible for 10,000 free API calls per month, this did not require an API key. The extension has not been developed to manage an authentication method.
