POSITION OVERVIEW
MSF Mexico is a developing marketing facing a “start-up” phase to build the necessary infrastructure to enable fast and ambitious growth within the following years.
We seek for a Developer position to work with CiviCRM, to fulfill the fundraising department expectations of donor´s data collection, security, income, and accurate information records. This temporary position is fundamental to develop the CRM strategy and the Fundraising department in Mexico. Lead by the Data Base Manager, the CiviCRM Developer main focus is to optimize the CRM aligned to MSF Mexico´s needs, develop side systems linked to CiviCRM in order to enable growth of information size and complexity.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improve CiviCRM data base information in order to fulfil fundraising expectations.
- Set and assure data validation to guarantee donor´s quality information.
- Develop custom side programs to consult CiviCRM’s data.
- Create documents to assure accurate Data processing (import, export and reporting).
- Clean and reorganize actual data/fields into new standards to fulfill FR goals.
- Create, implement and assure the source code system implementation to guarantee results follow-ups.
- Work alongside with MSF CiviCRM’s provider, to assure optimized and aligned tasks.
- Ensure database constant availability and performance.
- Ensure correct entry of information from external systems into the database.
- Perform custom data extractions and segmentations for marketing campaigns.
SUPERVISION LINES
• Depends directly from the Data Base Manager.
• Work closely with the support of the Head of Fundraising and Data Base Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive experience creating custom extensions and features for CiviCRM.
- Experience translating business requirements from non-technical staff into CRM functionality.
- Expert knowledge of PHP 5.6 + Drupal.
- Expert knowledge and experience with CiviCRM’s JavaScript and APIs.
- Experience or general familiarity with non-profit fundraising.
- Availability for 3 to 6 months working exclusively for MSF.
- Availability to work in Mexico City at MSF Mexico´s Office.
LOCATION
- MSF Office in Mexico (based on contract with MSF USA – lodging provided).
CONTRACT TYPE
- Temporarily (3 - 6 months).
- Based in Mexico City.
