Fuzion is a Kapiti-based NZ-owned company delivering open source CMS and CRM solutions to clients in NZ and overseas. Our clients are mostly non-profit organisations and professional associations. We are strongly driven by our commitment to a more just and sustainable future.
The solutions we provide are built on CiviCRM and Drupal (or occasionally WordPress), with integrations for other systems (Moodle, Xero) where required.
We are looking for a keen PHP developer, who is enthusiastic about working with projects that are 'doing good', to join our small team. You will need to have good spoken and written English as some work will involve direct communications with clients.
You will need to be adaptable and willing and able to take on non-PHP tasks as well, such as installation of modules and extensions, debugging non-PHP issues, jscript tweaks, building mysql queries.
The successful candidate will be expected to spend time in person at our Kapiti base (accommodation provided if required) for an initial period of training and familiarisation but we will consider applications from exceptional candidates from further afield in suitable time-zones.
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following experience:
- PHP web application development.
- CRM development, writing custom extensions as per the client requirements.
- CMS implementation
- Git experience
- MySQL/Mariadb
Experience with payment processors integrations and/or AngularJS/NodeJS knowledge would be a plus.
Hours: will consider less than full-time (but more than half-time)
