Circle Interactive is looking for a full-stack developer with commercial, dynamic front-end experience. You will be joining our small and friendly team of devs, producing high quality digital solutions for a range of exciting clients across the charity and commercial sectors.

Key-skills:

  • Reliable, organised, focused - we don't micromanage people
  • Creative problem solver
  • Team player
  • PHP and MySQL
  • Drupal
  • Experience with Git

Desirable:

  • React / Angular
  • CiviCRM (by no means essential because we will train you, but nice to have)
  • Payment processors
  • DevOps

As a Circle developer you will spend most days focusing on project work. We use various technologies including PHP, MySQL, JS, Angular, React and more. We tend to develop around Drupal and CiviCRM, and most of our work involves building bespoke applications on those platforms, so you will need solid familiarity with Drupal and experience with APIs.

We have a large number of clients so another essential part of your work will be supporting and maintaining an assortment of applications across various frameworks and versions. Good time management and problem solving skills are essential to this role.

You’ll need to be well organised and keen to keep your work well documented and safe. Our developers often work together and we enjoy a close-knit support network - we're always helping each other out, so you’ll definitely need to be a team player. We run regular knowledge-sharing and training sessions for our developers and you'll get to go to some conferences and sprints for Open Source projects. Circle is well known in the Drupal and CiviCRM communities, so if presenting and running workshops is your thing, there will be opportunities for you to do a bit of that too!

Perks:

The pay-off for your hard work is a relaxed and flexible working environment, with dedicated learning and development time to improve your skills and knowledge base. We’ll supply you with ample amounts of tea, coffee and fruit, plus a host of activities to get away from the screen, from table tennis to paddleboarding to lunchtime pub trips.

  • Opportunity to be part of an ethusiastic, dynamic team
  • Flexible working
  • Relaxed environment
  • Self / team learning time
  • Fruit
  • Coffee
  • Pub trips
  • Table tennis
  • Laptop (whichever flavour you prefer)

Salary:

£30,000 - £40,000 or in-line with experience.
