LYRIC is a small non-profit that is entirely managed by volunteer attorneys.  Our mission is to teach youth how to safely exercise their Constitutional rights, and we do so by connecting with schools and community organizations and training volunteer attorneys to teach our curriculum to high schools students.

LYRIC teaches in over 32 Denver metro schools; in the last two years, we have taught over 6000 students.  Although LYRIC's purpose is singular and straightforward, in order to present just one LYRIC presentation-our board must engage with educators and community members, must provide training and oversight to our volunteer attorneys, and must coordinate between teachers and volunteers.

Since we have received generous support from Cividesk, we are now able to efficiently communicate with our volunteers and educators, and more importantly, we have been able to spend more time developing relationships and our curriculum, and less time doing behind the scene administrative work.

Jessica Jones, LYRIC volunteer and board member, explained:"We would not have been able to afford the cost of a comprehensive database, but because of Cividesk's Giving Back program, we now have an easy to use database that allows us to grow and expand into new schools and teach even more students!  LYRIC is very grateful to the support, training, and service that Cividesk provides."
