Developer documentation and translation spint in The Netherlands
Last week we had a small sprint in The Netherlands funded by CiviCooP focusing on the developer documentation and Dutch translation.
A group consisting of Coleman Watts (Core Team), Oliver Gibson (North Bridge Digital), Rose Lanigan (Ruza Solutions) and Klaas Eikelboom, Jaap Jansma and Erik Hommel (all from CiviCooP) concentrated on bringing the Developer Guide up to date. Improvements (at least we think so) were made to the Form Builder section, the Hooks and Events section and a few How To’s were added to the Step by Step section. And Coleman fixed a few things we ran into on the go :-)
We also checked how we are going to do things with FormBuilder forms that we used to do with the hook_civicrm_buildForm, hook_civicrm_postProcess and hook_civicrm_validateForm. We established that we could do a few things but certainly not all. So it is important we keep checking this while we further improve FormBuilder. Betty Dolfing, Sietse van Dreven and Erik Brouwer (CiviCooP) worked on getting the Dutch translation to 100% and also translated a few extensions that we use a lot.
