If you are using Drupal 6, you have a vested interest in extended Drupal 6 support for CiviCRM 3.4 until spring 2012. If you are staying with Drupal 6 because of budgetary reasons or because Drupal 7 doesn't yet support all the modules you need for your site, this is vital for you. You will make sure your 3.4 CiviCRM/Drupal 6 setup remains healthy and safe.

Please donate here, if you haven't already.

CivicActions contributed $2500 to this MIH back in June. Many of our non-profit clients that use CiviCRM have sites built with Drupal 6 and do not have near term plans to upgrade to Drupal 7 for various reasons. We would encourage other CiviCRM implementors to consider making a contribution for each client you have that is running CiviCRM 3.x and doesn't have immediate plans to upgrade to 4. $100 sounds like a nice round number. If just 13 such donations are made, we will hit the goal.

We just topped off the last stretch. We'll need to make a larger appeal to all users of Drupal 6 for extending it past 2013 considering how Drupal 8 is going through some tough birthing pains.

9/21/2011 - Funded 100% GOAL MET!

I am so happy it is funded, a great community effort - thanks!. I contributed myself and encouraged all my clients to contribute too.

This will be a great benefit for people who plan to stay at D6 for a while.
