CiviCRM 5.2.1 and 4.6.37 release

This first CiviCRM release this summer is now ready to download.

WHAT'S NEW IN CIVICRM 5.2.1:

The focus for this month's release has been on bug fixes but there are a few improvements notably
 

  •  Core CiviCRM updates:

Support 'criteria' in url on batch merge form. A new criteria URL parameter for finding duplicate contacts allows you to specify API criteria to only search for duplicates among a subset of contacts. More details here.
 
Add Link To Edit Relationship Types. This change adds a settings button next to the Relationship Type field on the Edit Relationship screen which allows you to edit relationship types. More details here. 
 
Create API Action to rebuild Multilingual Schema. Find more details here. 
 
 
  • CiviContribute
Invoice Number and Invoice Reference are now both available in the bookkeeping transactions report. Before this change, only Invoice ID was shown as a column in bookkeeping report. Find more details here. 
 
  • CiviMail
Add in stats to AB tests and add in clickthrough and opened % stats to mailing reports. Find more details here. 
 
 

NEW INSTALLATIONS

 
If you are installing CiviCRM 5.0 from scratch, please use the corresponding automated installer instructions:
 

 

Authorize.net users:: Prior to 4.7, CiviCRM forced Authorize.net to send out receipt emails regardless of Authorize.net configuration. From 4.7 onwards this will not happen and you should log into your Authorize.net interface and configure whether you want Authorize.net to send out receipts (in addition to those sent by CiviCRM).

Lybunt report users:: Some fields that were previously mandatory on Lybunt are now optional. On new reports they are on by default but you might need to check the fields you want are selected for existing reports.
