Announcing CiviHR 1.2 Stable Release

We're excited to share that CiviHR 1.2 stable is ready for release. If you are new to CiviHR 1.2, you can read about its beta version here.

 

What's New

CiviHR 1.2 will save manhours and paperwork in non-profits in several new ways:

  • Employees can make absence requests and manage them as well. 
  • The HR manager can initiate leave applications on behalf of employees, and approve them at the same time.

 Save and Approve at the same time

  • The HR manager can accept or reject leave requests. 
  • One can use built-in Absence Types or create custom ones.
  • The HR manager can see Absences in a calendar view for a selected period of time, colour-coded by Absence Type.

Calendar view

  • The HR manager can record leave entitlements, and view leave-related statistics on a single screen.

Leave entitlement and balance available

  • An Absence tab has been added to the Employee summary page. 
  • The HR manager can add any number of public holidays.
  • Absence reports include 'Absence List report', 'Absence Calendar report' and 'Public Holiday Report'.
