Cividesk has created an on-line training session to guide you through the basics of creating custom fields and to show you how to use profiles to gather custom data from contacts through the creation of an on-line form. When you leave this class, you'll be able to customize CiviCRM to gather and store data that is unique to your organization, as well as better understand the various uses of profiles in CiviCRM.

Cividesk wlll be offering the intermediate level on-line training for Events, Organizing Successful Events in CiviCRM on Wed., February 7th from 10 am to 12 pm MT. This class is a good follow-up to the Fundamentals of Event Management taught by Cividesk.
We'll go more in-depth on creating an event in CiviCRM. We'll look at price sets and profiles, how to set them up correctly and make sure they work well with your event. We'll also cover different registration options available in CiviCRM and the best practices for configuring your event to make sure the on-line event registration runs smoothly.
One way we try to give back to the CiviCRM community is by offering free user training each Wednesday in the form of one-hour webinars focused on specific areas of Civi. Writing on the train back to London from the CivicCRM Sprint at Duvale Priory in mid-Devon, I can see why some people are willing to travel from across the world for the Sprint: it is a great way to spend a week. I went for the Developer Training, delivered by Parvez and Raj of Veda Consulting. The training was held for two days alongside a week's sprint (5 days + 2 travel days). I stayed for the rest of the Sprint.
