Join us in November/December for the biggest CiviCRM event of the year. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn more about CiviCRM and get involved in the community.

CiviCRM Manchester takes place over a ten-day period from 29 November to 8 December. There is lots happening - whether you are new to CiviCRM or have been using it for years, there will be something for you. This is an event that you can't afford to miss so book your place now!

CiviCRM Manchester consists of:

  • CiviCamp - a one-day conference for users of CiviCRM on 1 December
  • Admin training - two days of training for CiviCRM administrators on 29 & 30 November
  • Developer training - two days of training for CiviCRM developers on 2 & 3 December
  • Sprint - a week-long residential event to improve and develop CiviCRM on 2-8 December

You can come to any or all of these events. There's more detail on each below.

CiviCamp Manchester

This is the main event for anyone who uses CiviCRM. CiviCamp is an informal conference for CiviCRM users. It’s a friendly affair, with plenty of opportunity to meet other people and share tips about how to make best use of our favourite CRM. There will be a range of workshops and presentation that showcase different aspects of CiviCRM. It's a great way to keep up-to-date with new features.

The programme for the day is yet to be finalised but you can get an idea of what it will be like by reading the blog from CiviCamp London in June 2023.

Admin training

A comprehensive two-day hands-on training course covering the configuration, administration, and every-day use of CiviCRM. This event is aimed at administrators and technical users at organisations that are either using CiviCRM, or interested in evaluating it. It is also useful for staff at organisations that develop or implement CiviCRM who need a complete understanding of "out of the box" features and configuration options.

Book a place:

Developer training

This course is targeted at developers who want to learn more about configuring, customising, and extending CiviCRM to meet their organisation / client needs. You don't need to be a 'developer' to attend but you should have basic PHP and MySQL skills, and be familiar with (or at least ready to dive into) the CiviCRM codebase.

Sprint

Sprints are friendly and welcoming events that provide an opportunity for you to get to know the rest of the CiviCRM community and contribute back to the project. They are ideal for making improvements to CiviCRM, learning about the latest developments in and/or working on your pet project.
