Earlier this week Tina and Patrick from Embracing Age gave a detailed and insightful talk about their journey to adopt CiviCRM at CiviUsers UK. They've come a long way in a short period of time. It's impressive to see how much they've achieved on a limited budget and without a dedicated IT department.
They shared how they have successfully integrated CiviCRM into their daily operations, including:
- Integration with Weebly CMS and Google Workspace
- Recruitment and management of volunteers
- Online donations (including UK Gift Aid)
- Event management (fundraising initiatives, carer and church event management)
- Care home resident referrals
- Volunteer vetting and placement case management

- SearchKit - for searching and reports (part of core CiviCRM)
- CiviRules - for automation
- Form Processor - to handle form submissions
- Contact Layout Editor - to create different layouts for different staff roles
- Stripe Payment Processor - to take card payments
- Mailchimp Sync - to sync contact data with Mailchimp
