This 2-hour online training session is designed for new users of CiviCRM or organizations who are current users, and have new staff to train or are in need of a refresher course.

This 2-hour online training session is designed for new users of CiviCRM or organizations who are current users, but have new staff to train or need a refresher course.

During this two hour training you will learn how to:

  • Organize contacts using different contact types
  • Add new contacts
  • Manage relationships between contacts
  • Conduct basic and advanced searches
  • Create groups & smart groups, tags/tag sets and custom data sets (custom fields) and understand the differences between them
  • Perform an action on a group of contacts (send an email and export data)
  • Manage activities 
  • Find and merge duplicates and better understand duplicate rules
  • Create an activity report and include it on your dashboard 

You’ll leave this training with new skills as well as best practices for managing contacts in CiviCRM.This training is the first session of a four-part training. The next sessions will be on membership, event and contribution management.
