Powerbase (the Progressive Technology Project's hosted CiviCRM program) provides a Drupal site for your CiviCRM database, but, even though it's in Drupal, you can't use it for your web site. Your web site must be hosted elsewhere. This approach is becoming increasingly popular as organizations move from Drupal, Wordpress and Joomla to new web site platforms, or simply don't want their web site vulnerabilities to lead to a compromise of their database.
Tadpole has been working with Andrei Mondoc, the developer of CFC, to extend the availability of processors to support memberships. Since memberships typically use Price Sets, this work also allows for Donations that use Price Sets and Line Items within a contribution page.

The Civi Summit was a great event - full of lots of nice surprises. One that stands out for me was that what started out as some wishful thinking - namely having the ability to provide on-page tours/tutorials - ended up with us being able to beta test a 'proof of concept' before we left.

One of the most requested features in CiviCRM over the years has been to tweak the Contact Summary page. That's the main Contact view, the "heart" of CiviCRM. And now, thanks to 12 donors contributing a total of $12,860.00 in the past month, we've almost reached our goal.
