San Francisco Baykeeper is seeking a volunteer to assist with the upkeep of our member database. The Database Volunteer plays an important role in keeping our records organized and up-to-date, enabling Baykeeper to efficiently and effectively work to stop pollution in San Francisco Bay.
Projects include:
- Ensuring that member information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Data cleaning: merge duplicate records, reorganize information to create consistent documentation, update outdated addresses, and more.
- Documenting recent interactions with members.
Skills in Microsoft Excel and a general technological adeptness preferred. Prior database experience is helpful but not necessary.
The ideal volunteer will be available to come into our office approximately 4 hours a week during regular office hours; telecommuting is an option. Dates and hours are flexible depending on your availability.
