Just arrived back home after spending a few days with the CiviCRM community in Brussels. And as always I really enjoyed myself and returned inspired and full of inspiration.
Our new extension aims to enable charities/organisations to manage their supporters in a GDPR compliant manner. GDPR in itself does not introduce many new requirements however it does introduce a number of new obligations on organisations that hold and use data about individuals.
Cividesk wlll be offering the intermediate level on-line training for Events, Organizing Successful Events in CiviCRM on Wed., February 7th from 10 am to 12 pm MT. This class is a good follow-up to the Fundamentals of Event Management taught by Cividesk.
One way we try to give back to the CiviCRM community is by offering free user training each Wednesday in the form of one-hour webinars focused on specific areas of Civi. The civicrm-setup library aims to replace the CiviCRM installer. Following the December/January iteration, it's available for use as a CLI installer and as a web-based WordPress installer.
