The first time a WordPress version of CiviCRM was available it was version 4.1 back in February 2012. It has now been more than 5 years, and I thought it would be nice to outline what has happened since WordPress became available as a CMS option for CiviCRM.

In conjunction with the first ever CiviCon happening in Canberra on Monday 23rd October. There will be a developer day on the Sunday prior to that day. There will also be an opportunity for international developers to join in through a Go To Meeting hangout. The developer day will be held at the Agileware office. 4/55-57 Lathlain Street, Belconnen, ACT 2617. The Day will start at 9am.

Writing on the train back to London from the CivicCRM Sprint at Duvale Priory in mid-Devon, I can see why some people are willing to travel from across the world for the Sprint: it is a great way to spend a week. I went for the Developer Training, delivered by Parvez and Raj of Veda Consulting. The training was held for two days alongside a week's sprint (5 days + 2 travel days). I stayed for the rest of the Sprint.
