Wouldn't it be nice if Macilhimp was tightly integrated into CiviCRM?

Well, thanks to funding from Zing, work to better integrate CiviCRM to Mailchimp has begun.

We've put together the key functions we're aiming to deliver, taking on the existing https://civicrm.org/extensions/mailchimp-sync integration built by Derek Williams @ Science Gallery.

The developers who've already volunteered to help mentor students, organizations that agreed to give back by allowing their staff to co-mentor a project, and everyone who's already submitted project ideas deserve a HUGE THANKS!! We got the level of participation we needed to submit the official application to Google for CiviCRM to be mentoring organization...

Yesterday was a great day for CiviCRM in Madrid. During the CiviDay, in Madrid, we announced the creation of a new CiviCRM working group that would start working the 11th February. We limited the number of participants to 25... and we had to close the inscription form fast because a lot of people was interested! Finally, we had our first meeting, and everybody was there. :-)

This weekend I pushed out version 1.3 of CiviVolunteer. It contains a handful of bugfixes (check out the commit history for more on that) and a new feature that is the subject of this post.

I’m not sure if this will be any use to anyone else, but I needed somewhere to write down the process, so you never know. After migration some of our custom reports have gone walkabouts and are showing this error message… 

"Could not find template for this report instance"

It seems that something has become broken and the path to the report and the report template no longer match, so reregistering / creating brings the reports back to life.
