On 5 October we have planned a CiviCRM Webinar for current users and interested parties. The rest of this blog is in Dutch, since the meetup / webinar is aimed at organisations in Belgium/Flanders and The Netherlands. For English speaking users: we will plan another webinar in November.
This is an open invitation for everyone in the Asia/Pacific region to join other Australians, New Zealanders etc. on-line to catch-up and discuss all things CiviCRM. If you are a CiviCRM user, developer or casual user with questions, then you are most welcome to join us.The meeting is only 1 hour and has a set agenda (depending on number of people attending this may be shortened).
SPF, DKIM, DMARC are all tools and various techniques use my email servers such as Google, Yahoo and others to determine the validity of an email that is sent to it. These have evolved over the course of the last few decades as the internet has evolved as well.
Skvare is the maintainer of International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA)’s Drupal 8 / CiviCRM website. IMBA is a network of local chapters, that provides resources to find local trails as well as information on building and protecting trails. The website utilizes CiviCRM integrated with Drupal 8 to allow local chapters to see membership reports, send emails to their members, and much much more.
We had such plans for 2020 with a UK-based summit in wonderful Devon. Then the world turned upside down and we've all struggled to maintain the energy we had and drive that energy into some kind of virtual event that would give the community the same experience as our Summit/Sprint events do every October. So we need to own up to something finally, the idea of a 2020 Community Summit is a dream.
The mindshare we received following CiviMobile recent release of Agenda and Payment functionality, not only makes us feel grateful and committed to the app, but also anxious to keep up.
CiviCRM version 5.29.0 is now out and ready to download. This is a regular monthly release.

Users of the CiviCRM Extended Security Releases (ESR) do not need to upgrade, as there are no ESR-specific bugfixes or security issues at the moment.

Deduper extension release 1.4
Release 1.4 of the deduper extension is now released. This contains a number of additional resolvers that the Wikimedia Foundations uses to enable more duplicate contacts to be merged without manual intervention.
