IMBA is a network of local chapters, that provides resources to find local trails as well as information on building and protecting trails. The website utilizes CiviCRM integrated with Drupal 8 to allow local chapters to see membership reports, send emails to their members, and much much more.

The Community Summit 2020

We had such plans for 2020 with a UK-based summit in wonderful Devon. Then the world turned upside down and we've all struggled to maintain the energy we had and drive that energy into some kind of virtual event that would give the community the same experience as our Summit/Sprint events do every October. So we need to own up to something finally, the idea of a 2020 Community Summit is a dream.

CiviCRM has patches that it needs to apply to 3rd party libraries. Composer has a plugin to apply those patches for you. Simple, right?

By now anyone who has tried to install CiviCRM on Drupal 8 has met Composer. You need to update its configuration to make patches work.

At the Progressive Technology Project, we have been struggling with getting our mass emails out more quickly for quite some time. However, since we went from 5.13 ESR to 5.21 things seemed to have gotten worse. And there is no change with the latest 5.27 ESR. After countless hours trying to sift through all the factors (of course there are way more factors then just the CiviCRM core version!), I'm turning to the community for ideas.
